Woodworking Clubs and Guilds - Links

American Woodworking Academy - Hands-on woodworking instruction in a state-of-the-art 12,000 sq ft lab facility.  A great way to learn woodworking or improve your woodworking skills.

Annapolis Woodworkers' Guild - Founded in 1989. Their goals include advancing fellowship among persons interested in the art of woodworking and preserving the tradition, culture and history of woodworking.

Brandon Woodworkers Club - Dedicated to all types and levels of woodworking. Located in Brandon, Florida. Check out their classified ads for woodworking stuff.

Canejo Valley Woodworkers Assoc. - Serving woodworkers in CA since 1994. Nice online projects gallery and woodworking library.

Des Moines Woodworkers' Assoc. - Serving members in Des Moines and 48 other Iowa cities. Lots of good woodworking info, safety tips, and seminars.

Diablo Woodworkers  - A club that was founded at the start of 1997 to serve interested woodworkers in the Diablo Valley of the San Francisco East Bay Area. The club is open to both men and women, regardless of where they live.

The Furniture Society - A nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the art of furniture making. They strive to bring those involved in the field of studio furniture together.

Greenville Woodworkers Guild - Promoting fine woodworking in South Carolina since 1981. Goals: help members become better woodworkers, elevate the public's knowledge in woodworking as an art,  to help charitable causes.

Lake Charles Woodworkers Club - Woodworkers in Louisiana. Monthly meetings are held generally on the second Saturday of each month to exchange woodworking information, techniques, tips, designs, and project ideas.

Maryland Wood Worker - On-line knowledge source and showcase for professional and amateur woodworkers, wood carvers, and wood turners in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia.

Michigan Woodworkers' Guild - Non-profit, educational, and co-operative organization founded in 1981 for the purpose of encouraging and promoting excellence in design and craftsmanship and wider use and appreciation of well-designed and crafted wood products.

Midland Woodworkers Association - MWA is a forum for area woodworkers to learn and improve their skills in various aspects of woodworking.

N.E. Wisconsin Woodworkers Guild - The Guild was formed in May, 1982 to further education and fellowship for area amateur and professional woodworkers, to advance the collective interest of woodworking, to promote good will, and to gain recognition through shows.

N.W. Indiana Woodworkers Assoc. - Their goal is to improve member's woodworking skills, share ideas and have a good time. Shop visits, videos, demos, field trips, tool auctions, and more.

Rochester Woodworkers Society - RWS presents lectures, workshops, field trips, and other events throughout the year. Impressive online gallery of members' projects and woodshops.

Saskatchewan Woodworker's Guild - Welcome to all with an interest in "woody" things. Interests of the members include all phases of woodworking from carving, turning, marquetry and cabinet making to finishing and restoration.

Scrollsaw Association - For those woodworkers that share a passion for scrollsawing, SAW is an international not-for-profit guild of woodworkers who use a scrollsaw.

S. Alberta Woodworkers Society - Dedicated to quality in design and production of fine woodwork.

St. Louis Woodworkers Guild - The SLWG seeks to improve the craftsmanship of its members through monthly meetings with instructional presentations by members and outside experts.

Victorian Woodworkers Assoc. - Maintained by the Victorian Woodworkers' Association to make connections between woodworkers in Australia and the rest of the world. Also lots of good working links and info about wood and woodworking.

Woodworkers Guild of Georgia - Formed in 1980.  Mission statement is to educate their members and the public through the promotion and development of the highest standards in every aspect of woodworking.
